Introducing the Darton Pent Log Cabin Summerhouse, a versatile and comfortable addition to any garden. This impressive structure combines a cabin, shed, and summerhouse into one fantastic package, providing you with a separate indoor room and storage space all in one sturdy building.
Crafted from 28mm interlocking tongue and groove log cladding boards, the Darton is built to withstand turbulent weather conditions. The roof and floor panels are also designed with the same robust construction, and the building is topped with a mineral felt roof covering. The glazed doors are made from high-strength SAN styrene glazing, allowing natural light to stream into the cabin.
For added protection and longevity, the Darton can be pressure-treated with a chemical preservative that prevents water ingress and ensures the wood remains strong over time.
With the Darton, you have the freedom to furnish and use the dual spaces as you see fit. The indoor room and storage unit can be used for separate purposes, or you can connect them to create a small design studio and workshop, or any other configuration you prefer.
The side storage unit is separated from the indoor room by an adjustable partition wall, providing you with amazing versatility in how you use the building. The Darton comes in two sizes, 12x8ft or 14x8ft, so you can choose the perfect model to fit your preferences.
No installation service is needed for the Darton, as it is designed to be assembled by hand with at least two people. With easy assembly and fantastic features, the Darton Pent Log Cabin Summerhouse is an excellent addition to any garden.
What is the difference in Treated and Non Treated?
There are various wood treatment options available, but pressure treatment is a popular choice for its ability to penetrate deep into the wood fibres with chemical preservatives. This treatment provides added resistance against rot, decay, and termite damage.
By opting for pressure treatment, you can ensure that the wood on your building is protected to a higher degree, which can increase its lifespan in the long run.
Whether or not to choose pre-treated wood for your cabin depends on its intended use. Consider the level of exposure to the elements and the amount of wear and tear the building is likely to face.

Delivery and Returns Policies:
Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order we will confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate Delivery. If your item is on backorder or unavailable we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate Delivery (within 5 business days) we will process the charges and submit the order for Delivery.
(please note due to shipping costs we only deliver to mainland UK only)
Order Delivery:
If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card it will be Delivered within five business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address your provide when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at Sales@shedhq.co.uk
Damages:
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrived damaged please send photos to Sales@shedhq.co.uk within 7 days and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. All original Packaging must be kept.
Cancellations:
If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges
Returns:
We reserve the right to either repair or replace the Item, whichever is more financially viable for us.
Should you wish to return any products, you must inform us in writing, either a letter or an email. The item(s) must be with us within 14 days, starting from the day after you receive your delivery. The date of delivery will be as recorded by our carriers. Once we have your request for a return, our customer services will give you a Returns Reference number. Goods without a Returns Reference number will not be accepted. Please ensure all goods are returned with their original packaging, complete with all other associated components sent with them, such as accessories and fitting instructions. Goods should be in an undamaged condition and sent back by your own method of transportation at your own cost. Do not send to our office address we will provide you with the address when required.
Please note that you have a statutory duty to take reasonable care to ensure that the goods are not damaged in transit and that we receive the goods. If reasonable care is not exercised, we may make a claim against you for not exercising this statutory duty. Your refund will be made within 30 days after return of the goods.
Where goods have already been dispatched, you shall send back the goods without undue delay and in any event they must arrive not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of the order. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. In some cases, it may be possible to organise for goods to be collected from you. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods or the collection cost, including if you refuse delivery of goods that have already been dispatched.
Please note that made to order or custom products are not eligible for Return.
